Conversation with Jeff Goins: Real Artists Don't Starve Poster Child

In 7th grade my art teacher ask us to create an art piece by looking at another artists work. The Bedroom by Van Gogh stood out. This was a very magical process for me. Although prior, I sat many days on my bed, at my desk and even our living room couch creating. I'd doodle with markers from a large green bucket next to me. It was in that moment creating The Bedroom, I was in love. Not sure what happen to my actually painting of The Bedroom, but I do remember wanting to major in art while entering my college years. My mother encouraged me to take a different path.
